Lalo knows what it feels like to start over. He’s done it once, and though it was a rough transition, he doesn’t regret it. He’s a sunflower grown tall, learning to follow the light. It is during this period of new growth that he meets Valentine, a handsome anime fan, and discovers the first volume of a rare, out-of-print yaoi series called "Kitchen Boy Losange." In his quest to track down the rest of Losange’s story, he makes new friends, spends too much time on the internet, and maybe, just maybe, falls in love.

A note for my friends who aren’t familiar with anime: Brand names are sometimes mentioned in stories, except they are changed in ridiculous and/or humorous ways. (For example, when a certain devilish character gets a part-time job at MgRonald’s.) I attempted to do the same thing in this story!
