Ascendance of the King was inspired by Shakugan no Shana, and I aim for a similar vibe in some story beats. I also want to experiment with another kind of storytelling style, one where there's a story going on in "present day", while the past is being reminiscenced. Finally, the big theme throughout is about family and healing, and I hope this story can touch hearts and provide a little light in some lives.
Edit: Due to having a more clear picture of the story going forward, I changed the title to better reflect the vision for it.
