The world of a nine year old girl named Focus starts to slowly collapse, as her only family member gets involved in an accident. This path of loneliness leads to her career in the circus and to the truth about her magical abilities. She is to become Mistress of light - a mage capable of saving the humanity, yet unable to safe herself.
It will probably be a looong story, since I want it to be more than just a detailed backstory of Mistress of light.
At first it was supposed to be a side story to my webcomic series (When Daffodils Wither), but it grew up to pretty much be it’s own thing, just set in the same world. Either way, if you’d like to know more about my work, check out my website:
