With one year left in high school, Ton Fujimoto hopes to follow in his parents' footsteps and help the people of Trinity City.

One day, Ton and his classmates are caught in the middle of a robbery during a school trip to the city's museum. As Ton tries to protect his sister, Ema, he is thrown into a statue, which collapses on top of him.

Underneath the rubble, a mini-bot emerges and injects Ton with a strange serum, saving his life. Weeks later, Ton discovers he can create portals and has incredible strength.

With his childhood friend, Rascal Daequan, Ton works to uncover the mysteries behind his powers.

One night, while practicing his new abilities, Ton sees some police officers being attacked by thugs. He jumps in, barely managing to beat them, only for the officers to try to arrest him despite his help.

After fleeing, Ton realizes he might have found a way to help people and thinks the city could use some "heroing."
