In the arena, the Gladiator is undefeated, working his way up through the hierarchy by slicing and pummeling his opponents within an inch of their life. He's been given the title 'Untouchable', dodging any attack his opponent makes before they even move.
Of course, the Gladiator has been beaten many times, but with a pilfered spell to rewind time, all he has to do is change the outcome. There's no way he can lose, even if he fights against the King of the arena.
...right?
Hiya! This is my submission for 'The Time Traveler's Message' theme of June 2024. I wasn't planning on participating this time around, but I literally just planned out a novel with this theme, so I've decided to make this a quick side story for that. I'll hopefully be releasing that novel here sometime next year, so if you enjoy this, look forward to that!
Of course, since this story involves time travel, you may notice some things change each week, not just with the novel itself...
