Sora, a PhD student, was followed by people all her life, not knowing the reason for it. Yoshio, a tengu, who lived in Japan for centuries, seeks revenge for a forgotten past. Sora, unknowingly has a crimson aura, actually is a magnet for yokai, who want to eat her up, with the power she apparently has. Her academic life, filled with anime, danmei, and research, intertwines with the dark forces lurking in the shadows. There is Maki, Yoshio's pupil, a romantic soul, who struggles with his wish for true, pure love.
As Sora, her friends, and Yoshio now have to uncover the truth behind her powers, solve the mystery about serial killer cases that were happening for centuries, and deal with everyday life/love struggles.
