Following the victory of the axis powers of World War II, the words had been divided into four spheres of influence. One of them is led by the militaristic Empire of Japan that estabilished the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. However, the citizens of this realm are only equals in name and the apex of the social hierarchy are the Japanese.
Shinji Katayama, a mastermind compared to his teenager peers was kidnapped and was brought to Tokyo to assist in part of a secret project initiated by the Emperor's governing board code named A.M.A.T.E.R.A.S.U. However, as he refuses to collaborate Shinji is sent to prison, where he meets Cheon Sang-Hee, a korean prisoner girl. Together they plan their escape, and swear to uncover the secrets of the Emperor's project. Will the two succeed?
