In the high-tech world of 2060, shy high schooler Berry dreams of owning a KN-9, a state-of-the-art robotic dog that every other teenager seems to have. His wish comes true when he stumbles upon a discarded, battered KN-9 in a scrapyard. Berry restores the quirky bot, naming it Rusty, only to discover that Rusty is unlike any other KN-9—flawed, unique, and extraordinarily resourceful.

What begins as a simple desire to fit in spirals into a life-or-death struggle as Berry, his best friends Lyla and Tim, and their loyal robots uncover a sinister plot to take control of Crescent City. A rogue AI called Vanguard is hijacking the city’s automated systems, threatening to plunge it into chaos.
