Diary of a Normal Loser is an sitcom like story about a guy called Max who is a therapist working in some small clinic. What I like most about this story is that it is written in a diary like format where we are reading Max's writing but also the therapy sessions which are in present. I really like that aspect of writing and this novel succeeds in the character relationships to each other and of course the clients which more than often are zany, weird just like Max to be honest.
We follow Max in this journey of self discovery and dealing with his sister Daphne who they live together and no, not like anime siblings, get you're head out of the gutter. Their relationship is wholesome and frankly makes me wish I had a sister like her, Daphne is fun, crazy but always ready to help out his brother Max . From the first chapter you can definitely tell this pair is great.
I have never wrote a review before so I hope that suffice in highlighting this piece of work that definitely deserves a read.
