This story is my entry for the 2024 MAL x Honeyfeed Writing Contest, with the theme of “Harmonic Future” and the genres “Comedy” and “Slice of Life”. As a writer, I’ve always thought that worlds without conflict are boring, because conflict forces characters to push past their limits and do things they wouldn’t normally do… So I believe it’s only natural for a character living in that kind of world to think the same way, craving conflict just so they can find something to give them purpose and push them to be better.
