I started reading this novel without any particular expectations and then got caught by the collar before me even noticing it. I don't exactly remember at which chapter, maybe second or third, but soon... It was too late. I needed to read more. And more. Always more.

"Robot Catgirls Philosophizing on the Moon!" is a must-read comedy. Even if the plot may appear to be a little foggy at the beginning, each story needs to make its first steps. And this novel doesn't miss gaining a pleasant pace, its unique gait consisting of a vibrant humour. With running gags, delightfully silly dialogues, absurd situations, and the main character's antics, there is no way to avoid giggling along an honorable number of chapters.

The main character, Stella, along with "Bob" are a point of pride of the novel. Add a robot catgirl finding your average folk as requiring urgent psychological support to a rather grumpy and blunt social worker... and you unlock a bouncy relationship bolstered by their out of sync way of thinking. The more you read, the more you wait to see what Stella will say/do that will anger "Bob".

Of course, speaking of the characters needs me to highlight the author's writing style. It perfectly goes along the MC quirky personality, achieving to bring life into her. Atypical, filled with pieces of soul, the author's prose makes the reader "live" the story through her eyes, casual situations becoming unknown destinations. Isn't it what all writers dream of? Lolitroy's ink is what allows this story to gain this sparkle, this little something that prevents the reader from confusing this novel with another one.

Reading chapters of this novel ends up like eating cookies. Or peach pies. Sheer gluttony.

P.S. My only regret is not having written this review right after I finished reading. Now I can't scream 'first review' as the silly reader I am ughhh.
