A young prodigy hacker, Kaede, discovers a hidden file called "Eden Protocol," a blueprint for an alternate, free society unshackled from Aegis. Alongside a rogue android named Nova, who exhibits emotions unheard of for machines, Kaede sets out to expose Aegis's true nature.
