From the very first chapter, Kyslicium grips you with its unique premise and richly imagined world. The concept of the story is both chilling and fascinating and it instantly draws you into it. The story explores themes of sacrifice, humanity’s reliance on nature and technology as well. I really enjoyed all of the characters and how they were portrayed, they were distinct and exceptional, it was easy to become deeply invested in their fates. It was a fun ride watching the characters try to either disrupt or maintain the harmonic peace that the humanity achieved. Without giving too much away, it has a shocking yet ultimately redemptive ending that leaves you reflecting long after you’ve read the final words.
