The Photon is a revolutionary device that lets people shape light into almost anything they can imagine—tools, furniture, weapons, even transportation. For Washi, a twenty-year-old college student, having a Photon is great for small conveniences, but hasn't made his life any less normal. When his bank account hits zero, Washi reluctantly takes a shady job offer that feels too good to be true. Washi finds himself working for an eccentric boss who claims to see the future. His new job? Stopping those who threaten the world’s future, by any means necessary. Armed with only his Photon and a lot of questions, Washi is thrust into a dangerous new life of vigilantes, light-based tech, and a mission he’s hilariously underqualified for: saving the world before it’s too late.
