The Non-Human Society is a shell of its former self.

The Society is crumbling. Its members are scattered. Its ideals faded. Its heart broken.

Renn still joins, seeking purpose... finding Vim, the Society's weary Protector. However, Vim guards more than the Society. He also hides a past she can't yet grasp, one unraveling with every step.

As betrayal stirs from within, enemies draw near, and old wounds begin to rot, Renn and Vim must face a question neither are ready to answer...

What to expect?

- An immersive world-building and character focused story!

- A typical, but fleshed out, low-fantasy world. Regrettably, the only numbers that go up here are the chapters and word counts… and, well, my debt...! but let's not talk about that.

- A more down to earth, sometimes somber story. But there is hope!

- Slow-burn, cozy romance with room to breathe!
