This book certainly grabs attention with its enveloping atmosphere and the author's way of conveying events. I found the author's narrative language quite successful; especially the descriptions and the details of the established world were very vivid and impressive. The depictions regarding the characters' inner worlds and their surroundings significantly contribute to the depth of the story.

However, the reason I didn't give the book a full score is that the narration sometimes overshadows the dialogue. While the descriptions and the author's narrative voice are strong, giving a bit more space to direct conversations between characters could balance the density of the narrative and strengthen the reader's bond with the characters on a different level. Although the author's note mentioning a focus on "question-based conversations and thoughts" is an interesting approach, I felt this contributed to the weight of narration and description.

Nevertheless, this doesn't significantly detract from the book's overall success and engagement. It is definitely a noteworthy work for readers looking for strong narration and an intriguing plot. It will offer an enjoyable reading experience for those who appreciate works with powerful narrative and descriptive strength. Therefore, I believe it deserves 4 out of 5 stars.
