Akiko Koito is an aspiring musician, desperately reaching for her dreams. In her lonely pleas, she moves to Tokyo, hoping for a good high school debut, a couple of friends, a better future and even love perhaps. However, what awaits her is not a heart-warming love story, but a tragic apocalypse as a world-ending catastrophe befalls them. How will she and her new classmates deal with the situation? What will they be able to make out of it? That's entirely up to each individual and their outlook on life.
