In a world where humans possess supernatural powers called “Kikai,” a legendary tournament pits high school students from all over Japan against each other: the Erabareshimono no Kyousou. A six-vs-six team tournament, in which the winners are granted the wishes of their choice.

Harumaki Yuuki, a young man with an emotionless face and a calm demeanor, decides to enter it alone to fulfill his dearest wish. To do so, he enrolls at Narukami High School, a prestigious school in Tokyo.

On his first day, Yuuki gets dragged into a fight with a bubbly girl named Hinata Ryûko, who forces him to participate in her Trial to recruit him.

At that moment, their destinies became intertwined. Harumaki Yuuki and Hinata Ryûko will experience many adventures in their daily lives as high school students, filled with friendships, romances, and comedic moments, as well as on their quest to fulfill their ambitions.
