I had expectations when starting this book, and I must say I generally found the author's writing and the created atmosphere to be successful. The characters and the core concept were intriguing. However, there were points regarding the story's progression that left me unsatisfied at times. The flow of some events slowed down a bit, and occasionally, there was a sense of repetition in the plot. This situation somewhat diminished my reading enjoyment.

Unfortunately, when I reached the ending, I didn't find the impact I was hoping for. The outcome was quite predictable, and I felt it concluded with a rather conventional ending. I would have preferred a more surprising or original finale.
