Karmao-esk: A large city full of riches that is ruled by the sadistic King Akiyo, who despises everything magical. He is willing to sacrifice and kill both those who use magic as well as those who don't in order to satisfy himself.

Mystisks: A small collection of various villages that farmers and those less wealthy mainly own. A majority of them have magic in their blood and fear every single day and hour the mighty wrath of King Akiyo. The cruel man often picks random villages to pillage and take prisoners to use for his own questionable deeds.

Neijiro Umemoto: A victim, a young man who lost his parents, his sister taken prisoner, and left to fend for himself. He wants the King dead, even if it ends up with him dead himself.
