The concept's presentation definitely offers a different flavor compared to other zombie stories; it's not just about the struggle for survival, but also delves into the character's internal transformation and the challenges that come with it. This approach brings a fresh breath to the genre and makes the story more layered and engaging.
My only critique might be that 19 chapters feel a bit short for the first volume. The events are so captivating that I didn't even realize how it ended! It finished right at the most exciting, most curiosity-piquing point. The author truly managed to leave the reader in suspense by ending the finale right at a peak moment.
I didn't want to deduct a point just because it was short, so I will give 5 stars.
