The world has been uprooted by a monstrous and continuous storm, going around the world once a month, tearing entire cities apart with ease. Mixed with the storm’s rainfall is a mysterious drug called Overdrive, its properties greatly enhancing someone’s strength or speed. With the storm taking the livelihoods of the majority of the population, it left them without homes, this group of people being known as the “Ravaged”. Forced to live on rolling cities or flying mobile homes, Adrian and Evelyn, two best friends living together on an airship are no exception. Wanting to live a better life outside of the bubble they where forced in. But when Evelyn is hit by an incurable disease called “the burn”, caused by consuming too much of the Overdrive drug, the two embark on a journey to cure the incurable.
