Synopsis

Their world is perfect.
Their world is doomed.
For Seih, it's the beginning of a nightmare. When the Light speaks of the end, giving the people of Firemount only one year until a nameless, terrible cataclysm consumes them whole, Seih, Brei, and Winds find their paths tangling on the road towards certain doom.
It's a road lined with flowers and ivy, meandering through a city filled with fear and hope, where some attempt to run, while others stand to fight for one more day of sunshine.
And when all you have is a matter of months, how do you meet your end? Wandering the path towards the endless night, they all must come face to face with what makes them human.
Life, after all, is a precious, fragile thing.

[The End is Now]
Hullo I am a sleep-deprived gremlin in need of energy-juice. This is a story that is not depressing, I'm just bad at making descriptions that don't end up some kinda philosophical bull stuff because descriptions are hard d-(´▽`)-b
There is some mild horror though. Mostly in the form of literal nightmares. Which is a fun contrast with the rest of the politics-steeped slice of life-ish vibe. Oh, and by the way, nothing here is related to real life. Wars, mentions of wars; politics? All fantasy, screw reality. I'm not making a statement, I'm writing a damn book set in some kinda Roman/Greek-influenced magical fantasy civilisation. It's wild.
Also yes the Light Scale really did just @everyone and I find this hilarious
*goes back to snoozing*
