A full serving of philosophy and love.

If you love romance, read this book;

If you love charming, lovable characters, read this book;

If you love diplomatic conflicts, philosophy, humanity, and lots of soul, read this book.

In short: if you love a wonderfully written story, give Mission: Love a chance. You won't regret it.

I really enjoyed the author's other work and already knew I'd find gold here, but I honestly didn't expect to be this surprised by how different it is from her previous (or perhaps future) one.

The beginning of Mission: Love might be a little misleading in tone. We're first introduced to sci-fi tropes that make us think we're diving into a purely technological story. However, just a few chapters in, it becomes clear what this work truly is: a story full of beauty, heart, and philosophy; all told through the eyes of incredible characters who wish (and hope) for the best of their species.

I don't want to spoil anything, but this story will definitely give you butterflies. It's impossible not to root for Airi and Kenji throughout their journey, and I couldn't be happier to have read something this wholesome.

Don't waste another second, embark on this interplanetary mission. I dare you not to end up feeling reflective after turning the final page.

Highly recommended!!!
