This story was overall very cute! I really liked the sci-fi backdrop and also how Mara mixes slice of life moments with the more action centric moments of the book. She kept that balance really well throughout this book. The idea of having this cute android girl who is grappling with this myriad of information she gathers only to find anomalies... upon more anomalies (hahah) when she is bombarded with the feeling of love for someone is so darn cute. On top of that, the kind of slow burn of the connection Rea and Eva share is paced well and it feels like they earn the satisfying conclusion they get at the end.
