The awfully quiet town of Hanabusa is turned upside down when Mia, an American exchange student and ghost-hunting influencer, arrives in search of the Weeping Lantern - her favorite Japanese Urban legend. There is just one problem: the ghost doesn’t exist! Not wanting to disappoint her, the Western poetry-loving Haru and his friends stage a fake ghost encounter. But as Haru and Mia grow closer, their clashing perspectives force him to reevaluate the silent town he once took for granted.
