Atsushi Higashi is left as the solitary member of the school's historic Photography Club, a club he only joined after he had received a mysterious note instructing him to do so just before his first year. His afternoons at the club are filled with subdued frustration and jealousy towards his fellow students who are all living more colourful lives filled with energy and romance.

That all changes when a girl from the future, Ren Miura, appears in his beloved clubroom one day in her shoddily handmade time machine, and asks him to show her his world...
