This story had one of the most interesting premises from the 'End is Now' prompt, and it delivered it well. When combined with the themes that are trying to be conveyed through the grimness of the setting, it was a solid base to start with.

From there each chapter makes you feel the end of the world nearing closer and closer. It felt actually suffocating from the descriptions of the disaster's progression. The worldbuilding and events all lined up well to form a cohesive narrative, and it gets you more hooked into how things will end the further you read.

The only issues I have are some janky language and that there were too many POVs/characters and not enough time to explore them/define them further. They almost melded together until the end.

Overall, I enjoyed this story and recommend it if you're feeling in the mood for something beautifully morbid.
