Kevin Stewart, a 26-year-old American solider, finds himself asking similar questions.

The year is 2213, and humans have explored most of the Milky Way galaxy, discovering many alien species and cultures along the way. After being shipped off to Empar, the planet populated by Sorax and ravaged by a devastating civil war, Kevin is forced to work together with one of the inhabitants.
