The Death goddess always knows when someone's life will end, and knew that her own end would come eventually, together with the other gods, but she never thought it would come so soon. The beating heart of the world has started to slow and everyone has a year at best, whether they are a god or a mortal. Some mortals have made peace with it, others are hoping to find a way to prevent it. Some think the gods might have the answer.
Will everything remain peaceful or descend into chaos? Will the mortals turn their backs on the remaining gods? And after being around since the very beginning, how will Death herself face the fact that her own end is near?
