Synopsis

Jessica Sanchez was never supposed to exist.

Once, she was Jason Carter — until everything changed.

Now living in the aftermath of a life stolen and rewritten, Jessica begins to uncover a conspiracy older than herself — a mystery buried in memory, identity, and the quiet war for control of who we are.

As Jessica searches for answers, she finds herself hunted by shadows from a past she can’t remember — and a future she was never meant to survive.

The Dominion Protocol is a story of identity, memory, and the fragile, dangerous power of becoming who you choose to be.

Note from author

I would like to thank those in the community that gave me the necessary feedback to make this story better.

On the surface, this story touches some transgender issues. I hope that I have treated them respectfully. However ultimately, that is not the focus of the story. The Dominion Protocol is about the idea of self. Who are, what defines us. What role does our memories and our actions play. What if our memories were not our own. It borrows a lot from the great existential writers of the early 20th century.

It is not a story about being saved, but rather discovering who you are and dealing with it in the best way you can
