Synopsis

Ever since he was a young child, Zaylen Allen was unique. He acted differently to other people, and he always felt as if he wasn't understood. After he is diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), he desperately tries to fit in by taking up football. Even after training hard, and being called up to the national team at eighteen years old, Allen still feels isolated. That is when he becomes determined to use his uniqueness to find a way to not only take his national team, Newland, to the World Cup for the first time ever, but to get to the final. Will he ever find a way to fit in with anyone in his team?

Note from author

Hello! I really appreciate you reading even a paragraph of this story! :) Just a little disclaimer, I have myself been diagnosed with ASD, so most of the experiences are personal to me, and might not be how other people with ASD feel or act. ASD is different with every person that is diagnosed with it, so I'm sorry if some people get confused with how I perceive it myself! Thank you for understanding and enjoy! :)
