The storytelling here was subtle but touching. The internalization of Ren's emotions were handled well throughout the piece even when understated at times. The characters had enough depth to them to make them interesting, and I felt compelled to see just how things unfolded throughout the story.
Once again my only real criticisms are nitpicks, and even then, ones like me wanting to read more and having a slightly longer ending can be mostly dismissed based on the tone/genre this story is aiming for (like the abrupt and decisive endings that accompany most fairy tales once the main conflict is resolved).
Not much else to add other than this was a very nice read that made me wish I could see more 😭
