Mr. Herzwarm, aka Mr. Warm, a former member of the elite scientific society "the Five," dies, allegedly committing suicide.

Schonewolken, a member of the Five who does not believe Mr. Warm committed suicide, received an e-mail from Mr. Warm that Mr. Warm sent after Mr. Warm died.

The message containing riddles leads him to uncover the veil of Mr. Warm's death as well as the key to breaking through the Quietus Cloud.
