Project Bifröst was meant to be answer to conquering space. Rather than the ardors of space travel, humanity would create bridges that connected Earth to the stars.

They called it the kilolakh. A cluster of one million habitable planets. But the Project Bifröst didn't connect the Earth. It pierced it. All at once, a million planets blended into one. A veritable apocalypse.

In the present, most of humanity lives in domed city states, clinging to outdated technology from many years passed. But one by one the city-states are failing, leaving their inhabitants to uncertain fates.

Enna is a bounty hunter, ekking out her living on the alien world of Yggdrasil. One of many humans who ended up on the alien side of the kilolakh, her body is slowly mutating to adapt. She hunts for parts, for an income. And to buy her way back into the only bastion of human civilization; the domed city of Alexandria.
