Synopsis

When we think of gods, we don’t imagine them bleeding. We don’t think they cry, break, or die. But gods are not untouchable—they're just as mortal as the myths that crown them.

Johnson Waldith was just a high school graduate with plans for college, not divinity. Then he was torn from Earth and thrust into a war-torn world where two fragmented gods battle for control. The victor will ascend as the one true god. Drafted into the army of Scar—one of the aspiring deities—Johnson is forged into an angel and granted the power of his choosing.

He thinks he’s safe. After all, he’s on God’s side. And gods don’t die… right?

Note from author

Thanks for checking out Godstride! This is a dark, character-driven isekai about war, divinity, and the fear of death—even among so-called gods. The story explores power, manipulation, and existential dread in a world where gods can die and angels bleed.

Expect slow-burn worldbuilding, morally gray characters, and moments that might challenge your perspective on good and evil.
