He is the last man she should want, but he's the man her magic craves.
After fifty years of brutal fighting, the war between demons and humans finally ends with an unexpected and secretive armistice. Now, a year later, the greatest witch from the human realm, Alora Kayden, joins a diplomatic mission to the demon castle to re-establish trade.
The tension and anxiety of upholding such a newly established peace between the two races should be the most worrisome thing Alora faces, but her magic has other plans. She's entering her "Calling"—a time when a witch is at her most vulnerable and her magic is uncontrollable. Her power hungers for something powerful.
And Alora is quickly losing control oas she fights against her magic's sudden unbearable craving for fire demon general Kasimir Kim—her greatest enemy, the demon who spared her, and the man that haunts her dreams.
Hello! Hello! Welcome to my first novel on Honeyfeed and my first original story ever. Yay!
Times are tough right now, and I believe what we need is community and stories that can let us escape the craziness of life. Thus, although I was originally debating whether to sell this directly, I ended up deciding to post a draft version of 'A Witch's Calling of Desire' here, so that people who aren't able to pay, but still want some of the magic that light novels bring, can enjoy this short story.
Thus, my plan is to post the chapters here un-edited and when done, I'll combine them into a novel with a really awesome cover, that is currently in commission, and offer the finished product on Amazon and other sites to those who want an edited copy with art.
With all that said, since this is a second draft, I'm open to all feedback as long as it's said kindly. :) We creatives can be sensitive people.
