Ren X is at its core a solid story that has just about everything one would expect in a fantasy isekai. It has the motivation, the wonder, the grit, and the intrigue to keep you going and reading more.

The characters, world, and premise never overshadowed one another, and instead lined up in a way where they all shone and amplified each other. Ren himself was a relatable guy that was the opposite of being bland, and the cast of characters were all memorable as well (From Shion, to Zero, to Milton, etc.) The world came alive as each separate plotline converged and weaved around each other. And once I'd gotten into the rhythm of the story, I couldn't put it down.

There were no glaring issues that stood out to me. The polish and direction of this story was constant throughout (Though I suppose that's to be expected of 'good anime' Wintsune himself)

I happily recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a good all-round story. From beginning to end I was behind Ren X, and I look forward to seeing more. 🥰
