Every 4 years, 96 contestants will enter the world of AZKANE, a digitally-generated terrain branded as an RPG gameworld. The contestants embark their journey from Starting Point as they progressively explore new areas, slain strong enemies and compete for the grand prize by defeating the Dragon Lord.
The stakes are high. Having their body digitally transferred to Azkane meant death is an option. All bruises, wounds and scars are to be brought back to the real world once the Tournament ended. Those who dies in the game, dies in real life.
Thus, why would anyone want to join this wicked game? Why would anyone want to gamble their life for a chance to win the grand prize?
I wonder myself too. Both my parents joined and died after all.
This is my second attempt in writing a full-blown novel. I always admire stories that is one of its kind. Attack on Titan, Breaking Bad, Undertale, no matter what the medium are, the lore that they told are very different and truly shines in the sea of cliches and copycats. I strive to do so.
