Characters with a lot of personality, a lot of humor and writing that just flows

I won't spoil anything important after the first few chapters in this review.

If you like good humor and well-written characters with a lot of personality, you should read this novel.

Aria, the protagonist, is reborn in a very classic story where a hero rescues a princess from an evil mage called "the mage of the north". The story itself sounds very standard, but it's the adventure and the characters that make this novel so good!

Aria is a well-written protagonist. It's funny reading her sometimes sarcastic thoughts, and she goes through a lot of character development over time. She knows the story of the novel roughly and just wants to chill on her own because she got reborn as a witch who gets killed by the hero, Lionel, in the original story. But she gets dragged into the adventure and accompanies Lionel on his adventure. It's nice reading how she changes during the adventure and grows with the other characters on it.

The characters are the strongest part, in my opinion. Every single one of them is interesting and well written.
The longer the novel continues, the better they get, and all their interactions feel good and real. After a few chapters I was really invested in all the characters and their journey.

I also loved that some obstacles during the adventure were more than just fighting. But the fights were also very good. It's just nice having some variety. Another thing I really liked is that this novel just reads so well. You have clear pictures in your head while reading, and everything just flows. This makes the fights very good and fast. You just read and don't have to stop or read some parts over and over again to know what's going on.

The romance aspect is subtle but slowly evolves over time, and you can feel that the characters grow and change over time, especially Lionel.

I don't want to spoil anything important in the novel, but I would highly recommend giving it a try at least to chapter 19, where the first arc ends.

If that's too far into the novel for you, then read to chapter 10, where the first part of the first arc ends. But starting with chapter 11, the party is complete. So I would recommend reading to chapter 19 so you know all the main characters and can understand why I like them so much. Especially chapter 17 is really good.

This novel is a hidden gem in my opinion, and I love all the characters and hope I can read more about them, maybe in the future.

5/5 stars from me for the amazing main characters, an interesting adventure, good humor, and fast-paced fights that read very well. My only critique is that the journey could have been a bit longer, but I know that the contest time was limited. I am just happy that this novel made it through.

(Also, Knox is the best. Change my mind.)

TLDR: Give this novel a try if you like well-written characters with a lot of personality and humor all over the place.
The novel also reads so well and just flows, which makes the fights so good. At Chapter 11 the party is complete with all their amazing characters.
