Erick Fischer, a reclusive English writer and tabletop RPG game master, wakes up in the very fantasy universe he helped create, along with his best friend Nikkita, a russian engineer and longtime brainstorm partner.

At first, it was a dream: walking through a land built from years of imagination. But that doesn’t last. They're trapped close to a major catastrophe. Erick remembers… mostly.

He still knows a lot — but the details are hazy, or missing entirely. Worse yet, the world wasn’t built by him alone. Two co-authors and an editor twisted the story in ways even he doesn’t fully understand.

With no magical powers and no overpowered advantages, Erick and Nikkita are mistaken for legendary heroes and thrown into a rising conflict spreading terror across the southern lands.
