I got tricked into reading an otome isekai story

*sigh*
It's been three months since I last read an otome isekai story. (tho only 3 days since I've watched one)
My name is Demini and I'm an addict. An otome isekai addict. And...
This story ranks ok on the scales. Impressive considering its competitors are Kill the Villainess, 7th Time Loop, I Shall Master This Family, etc.

The plot is straight fluff (Caeli's sustenance), and the slice-of-life aspects are engaging, but some of the prose could be improved (some parts used a lot of words just to describe things that I don't care about, when better prose could have shortened it). The hook of isekai + reverse isekai is unique and used well. I just wish I could see more of Lorelei reacting to LA and more of Lydia using modern knowledge to solve problems in the alternate world, but this might just be a matter of personal taste and genre expectations (which can be subverted too, but I digress).

The characters are solid. Lorelei and Lydia both have their issues, but the family issues of Lorelei seemed to have only popped up in the second half. I would like it if they were spread out throughout the story.
The villain, Sophia, is delightfully hateable, but her ultimate plan in the story was disappointing and failed too easily (off-screen... without the catharsis of watching her slowly fall). Lorelei barely even lifted a finger.
The love interest is delightfully hot. Like 10/10 green flag. Thanks for the meal, Seia.

Disappointed that Sophia didn't have any sex slaves.
