As a classic RPG enthusiast and a hardworking game developer, Kurimoto Haruma knows Crownless Saga like the back of his hand. The game company he works for, however, doesn't acknowledge him, but whoever transported him into the game does.
And yet, despite knowing the core gameplay mechanics, it all gets thrown out the window when something goes wrong with the summoning. His appearance is warped between his former body and the protagonist, he draws his sword out of his head, and every skill breaks the laws of physics.
Not to mention, the world feels too realistic to be a game. In fact, Haruma ends up screwing up the game's storyline and is now treading an unknown route. As time goes on, he also discovers an alarming amount of new lore that changes his whole perspective on the original storyline.
If anything hasn't changed, it's his encyclopedia's worth of knowledge, but Haruma will have to rebuild his confidence to realize that he can bend fate to his favor.
