20-year-old Kaito is deeply disillusioned with his modern life. Though he leads a fairly comfortable existence as a university student, his days are marked by monotony and a lack of purpose. Just as he finally lands a date that promises a break from his boring routine, everything changes—before he can meet his mysterious partner, he is suddenly summoned to the peripheral region of another world by Sylvienne, the warrior elf, for a particularly stupid reason—just to overcome a piece of rock. Sylvienne is an outcast on a journey to find the legendary warrior who's worthy of wielding the Mace of Zyron. With no clear purpose and resigned to the fact that he cannot control his fate, Kaito joins the elf on a journey into the lands of Terra Magna, overcoming various obstacles while looking for his purpose in life.
