Beautifully Heavy Prose That Draws You In (and Sometimes Overwhelms)

The worldbuilding and atmosphere are some of the strongest parts of the story—the author doesn’t just tell you what’s happening, they pull you into Shin’s exhaustion, fear, and surroundings with heavy detail. The immersive writing makes the emotional tone hit harder, and the pacing feels intentionally slow to build tension.

However, at times the descriptions can be a bit dense, especially in early chapters, which might overwhelm readers who prefer faster progression. Still, the tone, visuals, and psychological weight make the style feel deliberate rather than accidental. Once you get used to the flow, the atmosphere becomes one of the story’s biggest strengths.

I wanted to give it a 4.5/5 star rating although there's no way to give 4.5 here 😭 still I didn't gave 5 stars cause of the writing style problem of description details gets dense and makes it hard to get sometimes, otherwise all of it is written well.

It was a good read. ❤️
