"Prospector’s Attempt at Sourdough Spellcasting" delves into the despair and a subsequent metaphysical transformation of Shikara Kaekari. A retail worker, who is trapped in a monotonous existence after failing to live to her full potential as an aspiring actress. Her brief interactions with eccentric elderly customers give her only the slightest reprieve. Overwhelmed by a sense of meaninglessness, she walks home through an indifferent city where she stands on a deserted train platform, contemplating suicide as an express train approaches. Will this be an end to the suffering she has had to endure throughout her entire life? Or will this be a new life with the same pains repackaged?
