Chiyo Hara was a victim of bad luck. Due to the mistake of a god, she found herself thrown into a world of sand, swords, and magic. With no way home and no bonds in this world, she finds herself on the high roads, hunting monsters and aiding travellers.
Armed with her wits, a magical set of armour, and a train she can summon at will, Chiyo makes friends along the way, but the ever-looming threat of the Demon King, who is turning this land to desert, keeps her from settling down. His monster waves and magical disasters are becoming more and more frequent, and Chiyo's kind heart can't simply ignore this problem.
Chiyo and her friends might not save the world, but they'll at least put her train to good use and make a difference.
Trigger warnings: mild descriptions of violence, natural disasters, racism and xenophobia, violence against animals.
