This novel was such a good read !! The characters are and varied and engaging, and the situations that the story sees them through are interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat each chapter. The quality of the writing really shines through the further in you get bringing the whole thing together so well. This story has so much potential in a wider sense - theres so much more to touch on within the world of this novel. I think the main character, Ace, has a lot more growth to be had and it will be cool to see how he deals with the forces influencing his life and how his motivations shape his decisions moving forward - especially the character relationships (Shell is the best character). Beyond that theres so much colour to the world that this novel is set in and it was cool to see the range of powers and crossover of magic and technology. I hope that the author takes advantage of the full scope of the world they’ve created !!
