Andy was going nowhere. His boss hated him, he had no goals, even the days just passed him by. How was he supposed to know falling into a river would whisk him away to only-God-knows-where? Found by a group of soldiers, Andy's life gets all the excitement he never wanted as he finds himself drafted to fight in a world-wide conflict.
But the real kicker of it all? He's not the first one to be taken from our world.
While writing this, I found myself having several issues with the quality and how it was turning out, mainly because I was rushing to try and make it in the Isekai contest of 2025. The novel has remained not updated for several months because I am working on rectifying my own personal issues with it. This is a slow process as life and other projects are being juggled, and because I like to overthink what I write just a little bit. I plan on rolling out the properly finalized chapters before the year's end (I make no promise for that deadline), and in the meantime ask that you look at these early chapter drafts as a sort of proof of concept.
