Arthacyros the sorcerer has accomplished a feat of wizardry thought to be impossible: he has summoned a soul from beyond the world and captured it in an artificial body. Unfortunately for him, his country is on the losing side of a war, and the subject of his experiment is captured by the Kingdom of Manea. This is where our protagonist, having died once before his times, begins his memoirs of his unique, second chance at life. Taken in by his rescuers and assuming the name of Clossar ot-Vani, the man who came wandering from a different world joins the Royal Treasure Hunters.

In this volume of his memoirs, the wanderer recounts his early adventures. From abandoned ruins of bygone civilizations to demonic lairs, from wizard's towers to enchanted swamps, he travels the world seeking lost riches, blissfully unaware that Arthacyros will eventually come for what he feels belongs to him.
